I know I’m not the only one sad about the need to cancel the Stargazing at Fisher Farm that was scheduled for last Friday but I want to give you encouragement about Stargazing any time! Yes, the sky is there every night for you to enjoy. Even though you won’t have access to the powerful telescopes that our friends the astronomers were going to bring to Fisher Farm you can still go out and watch for what’s going on in the night sky any clear night. I want to encourage you to do that! Fall is a great time for stargazing because it is not as cold as winter and it gets dark pretty early right now. One really important thing to look for is a total eclipse of the moon on Oct. 8. Enjoy! This eclipse will occur early in the morning on Wednesday so if you get up early and look to the west you should see it!
