For “Where do Spiders Hide?” September 24
We sure found a lot of cool spiders and other insects in the woods last Saturday! Orb weaver spiders, hunting spiders, jumping spiders, from tiny to large and from very white to colorful. We learned how much work it is to make a web, why spiders are so important in our woods and in our gardens and why we needn’t be scared of them. As a couple of our WOW families reported after the event, they’re going to make sure any spiders they encounter stay alive and well! Thank you so much to Dr. David Grant who has made this annual WOW outing a very special one.
